VENGA

Used Kia Venga cars for sale

Sometimes in life you just need a small and practical hatchback, and it’s a bonus when it's as impressive as the Kia Venga.

This is a spacious yet compact hatchback that's both easy to move around in and comfortable even when you’re going the distance.

The Venga made its debut back in 2010, but was discontinued in 2019, so you’ll need to pick a used model to experience it for yourself.

About the Kia Venga

Practicality and function are the main strengths of the Venga, but comfort, space and an impressive warranty aren't far behind. This is a great hatchback for everyday use, but comes with enough equipment and features to make life easier.

On the road, the Venga is just as enjoyable. It wasn’t built for high-performance, but it makes up for that with comfort and ease of driving. It’s also an efficient choice, so saves some money on running costs.

As the Venga is no longer in production, the best way to get behind the wheel is with a used model. All of our used Venga cars are given a thorough inspection by highly trained technicians so quality levels are high.

Is the Kia Venga reliable?

The Venga scores well for reliability and receives high ratings on consumer reliability surveys across the board. On the ranking lists, the Venga usually finds itself towards the top, with little concern over major problems or upkeep issues.

Kia offers brilliant warranties with its cars – up to seven years or 100,000 miles. This warranty is transferable to new owners, so you could still be covered even if you’re buying a used model.

The Venga also gets good reviews for safety. Although the rating is now expired, Euro NCAP previously awarded the Venga a five-star safety rating, with 89% for adults and 85% for children.

You’ll also get a comforting amount of safety kit in the Venga, including hill-start assist and tyre pressure monitoring.

What are the Kia Venga features?

The Venga is a great car for everyday use, and its range of features also helps. There are a few trims to choose from, including the Venga 1, 1 Air, 2, 3 and 4, and they all come really well equipped.

Across the range, you can expect features like heated seats, parking sensors, navigation systems and Bluetooth connectivity. All of the latest models get electric front windows, steering wheel-mounted controls, and heated door mirrors.

You can also move up the range and upgrade to air conditioning and parking sensors, plus extra styling touches for a luxury edge.

What is the Kia Venga like to drive?

There are a few engine options across the Venga range, but you can be sure that each one is reliable, efficient, and really slick on the roads.

There’s a 1.6-litre petrol that’s perfect in a car this size. It puts out 123hp and feels fresh and on-point when you put your foot down, with enough power to never feel sluggish.

Kia also released a diesel engine in the Venga – a 1.4-litre that’s efficient and available with a slick manual gearbox. This is the one to pick if you know you’ll be making lots of lengthy trips.

There’s also an automatic gearbox in the Venga range, but it’s only available on petrol models.

    Used Kia Venga Review

If you’re looking for a supremely practical family car on a budget, a used Kia Venga should definitely be on your shopping list. With its diminutive exterior dimensions giving little clue as to its surprisingly capacious interior, the Venga is a mini-sized MPV that has ruffled the feathers of the Ford B-Max and Nissan Note.
